I think the most logical place is at The Strait of Tiran. I also do not believe Mt Siani is where tradition says it is Sinai Peninsula. GOD called Israel out of Egypt. I believe it is located in Saudi Arabia. B.A.S.E. or The Bible Archaeology, Search & Exploration has likely located the area of the crossing as well as the actual Mt Siani itself.
