Every time my brothers find snakes in the house, they’re up high and near something warm: water pipes, water heater, and ducts. You have duct work there he can get into?
Once you find him, you’ll need to figure out a way to put bells or GPS on him. ;o) Seriously, prayers up that you’ll find him.
No ducts.
The house has all the plumbing on one “wet wall” due to the impossibility of running pipes in logs.
If I do find him, I think I’m just going to superglue his tail to the floor of his tank.
:)
I think Ladysmith has a good point: Look UP as well. The one time a snake got into my parents’ house (I think it was a kingsnake), it was actually up in the attic. We only found out about it because when it crawled, it disturbed a wire that had been threaded up through a paneled ceiling. (Kinda creepy: the wire seemed to move all by itself!) We removed the ceiling panel and . . . snake!! Anyway, if there *is* an “up,” make sure you search there as well! Again, best of luck finding Alice!!
