The leftist policies have affected blacks for much longer than whites, in particular the breakdown of the nuclear family.
To support my position, you’ll notice that even though there are proportionately more blacks in the South than any other region, that’s the region that saw the biggest decline in violent crime.
If you look at the murders by blacks, most of them appear to be criminal-on-criminal. Being in a gang is an inherently dangerous activity, and involves killing to protect your turf, and to enforce sanctions against betrayal in situations where suing the other guy is not an option.
For somebody who cannot get laid unless he has more cash than McDonalds will provide, crime becomes increasingly attractive.
