I’ve read copies of that apocryphal “gospel” online. It reads exactly like the Koran. The last verse contains a blasphemy that accuses the apostle Paul of apostasy (against Allah that is).
Yep, they would have to target Paul (especially his teaching on grace). Pharisees didn’t like him much either. He knew them too well.
