Researcher/author Yohanan Petrovsky-Shtern reveals: Lenin was a a White gentile Russian, only one of his great grandparents was FORMERLY a Jew by ethnicity, but converted to Orthodox Christianity and actively worked against Judaism. Very doubtful if Lenin even knew about the ethnicity of that one great grandparent. More importantly, he shows, 'there was nothing "Jewish" about the man' Lenin.

Ya gotta admit, they have a very strong faith.

They believe Everything sprang out of Nothing.

They also believe Life just sprang out of the non existent nothing also.

They are the Church of Nothing.

What this article fails to mention is Stalin controlled the Russian Orthodox Church (ROC-Moscow Patriarchate or MP) through the GPU/NKVD/KGB 5th directorate. They controlled who went to seminary, who got ordained and especially who were selected to be bishops. The ROC was used to export soviet propaganda throughout the world, especially via the left wing world council of churches.

These mouthpieces would tell the world there was no persecution of Christians in the USSR, when the reality was that Patriarch Tikhon, metropolitans, bishops and millions of laity were imprisoned in the gulag just for being Christian. The criteria for selection was party membership, willingness to inform on others, and a certain "malleability" of character.

The current patriarch of the ROC, Kirill, was vetted by the KGB and used to advance anti Orthodox, anti Christian pro soviet propaganda as head of the department of external affairs for the ROC, as was his predecessor in that position, Metropolitan Nikodim.

This so called patriarch Kirill is a billionaire who used his position to line his pockets via the non tax importing and sale of tobacco and other contraband into Russia.

In the cold war days, the agents of the KGB penetrated the anticommunist remnant of the prerevolutionary Russian Orthodox Church Abroad (ROCA). By using the standard espionage tactics of bribery, blackmail and intimidation of bishops, priests and laity the KGB/FSB forced the ROCA to join the stalinist ROCA MP, headed by the old KGB agent, Kirill.

Thus any Russian Orthodox Church under the MP in your community is being run ultimately out of Moscow as part of FSB influence operations.

We see this repeated in modern day China where two Catholic Churches exist - the underground church, faithful to the Magisterium and the government approved version, which follows the dictates of government.
