If you don’t pick and choose your Biblical passage of choice and use the entire 66 books as a whole, you will see that the LORD says very specific things about certain topics for our protection and well being. From the beginning, homosexuality was called an ‘abomination’. So why do you think they changed the term from homosexuality to ‘gay’. It’s all to change your thinking, to the way of the evil one and make it look all happy, correct and full of light. That is exactly the same tactic the evil one used in the garden of Eden story. God instructs his human creations how to live and what not to do so that they could live and be blessed by Him. Then the evil one slithers and sneaks around, with forked tongue, and says to them...”did God really say that”? Now we have that same principle on a grand scale. The president of the U.S., slithers in, gives us his interpretation of the word of God, and whammo... it’s wonderful and so diverse for all to accept an abomination. “Did God really say that”...

What irks me the most about Obama saying he is basing his views upon his "Christian" faith is the total ignorance of what the Bible actually says. Bill Clinton was known for misquoting Scripture all the time in an attempt to couch his views in terms others would accept. He had the audacity to carry his big family Bible into church one Easter Sunday morning with the anticipation of being "serviced" by Monica as soon as he got back to his oval office! Hypocrisy, thy name is politician!
