You all may be right, but I don’t feel it. He ran in Mass to demonstrate a Republican could win and work with NE liberals which he would need to win a presidential election, or so his thinking was 10 years ago.

If you know anything about Massachusetts, you know that Romney was not the first republican governor to win in that state. Starting with William Weld, another full out liberal, continuing with Paul Cellucci and Jane Swift, there were three republican governors in Massachusetts in succession immediately before Romney. So I doubt proving that a republican could win in that state was high on Romney’s list.

Other than believing Romney would do or say anything to any one in order to win their vote, I would never attempt to guess what Romney is thinking on any subject.
