“Mormonism is so obviously a fraud why warn any one against something...”
That may be true for those who were either raised in good Christian families and homes or who are very knowledgeable of the scriptures.
There are many like me, who were converted because of our prior or current ignorance of what Christianity really is.
I will also submit that posting the truthful information about mormonism on the web helps to inject some results in the web based searches that are now practically overrun with “official” church results.
An official campaign is underway to do just that. Post so much information and create as many web sites as is possible that are favorable to mormonism, that those who are searching for the truth, will find it practically impossible to do so.
And how would you “define”; bashing, ridiculing and just being hateful to people”?
In my many engagements with mormons and their defenders, the definition varies greatly.
What one perceives as; “bashing, ridiculing, hatred, etc.” another perceives as exposing.
“Hate” is an oft and IMO, quite overused word designed to either stifle or shutdown discussion. Unless one can read the mind of the poster, or the poster came right out and unequivocally stated, “I hate mormons” (the people), how could one know? Simple, they don’t.
