I just found out that my nephew (niece's husband) is being deployed to Korea immediately - he is marine. And she is being deployed to Iraq in the next few weeks - Air Force Plus my daughter is have major abdominal surgery in two days. Please pray for these young people if you feel inclined. Fortunate that my sister has been given special permission to care for their four young children on base and I am joining my daughter to help care for her and the children. Thank you.

May God give them joy and the gift of His presence.
My husband and I took the two young grandchildren when my stepson and daughter -in-law (both full-time Army) were deployed in two different directions. She said she could refuse the assignment but we said No! Go on!
They were one and two, both in diapers, and it was one of the happiest times in my life. We had them four months. What a joy they were! And we bonded with them as we never would have been able to otherwise.
