>> “Mary is no ordinary human.” <<

.
Mary was a very ordinary human until Gabriel informed her that she was to carry the son of God into the world. She sleeps now, awaiting the “first resurrection.”

.
>> “she is nevertheless the Mother of God in that it is from her flesh that God took His humanity” <<

.
That is a nonsensical convoluted statement. God has no mother. Jesus stated that his mother and brothers were all the people that believed on him.

God chose his elect at the foundation of the world; no one can take even one of them away. Christ’s shed blood is sufficient for all, and effective for only the elect.

So you believe the fact God took His flesh from the Virgin Mary to be a “nonsensical and convoluted”? So where did He get His flesh from then? Or do you believe that Jesus was not fully human?
