St. Paul wasn’t a Christian when he thought he was defending Judaism. i know that, but he did think that he was defending the faith by attacking Christians, and even killing them. He thought his acts were somehow noble. I do believe that those who attack the church think they are somehow entitled and doing something noble like St. Paul. Saul didn't have the benefit of the bible that clearly asks us to treat each other with brotherly love, explains that those who are not against us are with us, and warns us about looking for petty problems with others, while having much bigger problems. Luke 6:41
