No crap they already know. And of course it's a liability in the general because the Democrat-Liberal-Media complex is absolutely going to use it against Romney; I entertain no illusions otherwise. All I'm saying is that it looks tacky coming from our side—especially from a religious figure, because it just looks like Republicans engaging in internecine holy wars, which is going to turn off the general electorate.
