Do you believe your insults and false accusations are helpful?

God’s word needs no interpretation. He gave it to his elect in clear, plain language form. To attempt to setup a princely order that has the power of changing God’s word through “interpretation” is a large part of the sin of nicolaitanism.

The description of images and idols in God’s word exactly fits the use of statues, and images as practiced by the RC church. I know that it is hard to accept, but it is undeniable nevertheless.

If you feel that this message insults you, that is a creation of your own mind, not of my intent.

Thanks for your reply. I haven’t insulted nor accused you of anything except not clearly knowing what an idol is.

>>God’s word needs no interpretation.

It’s impossible not to interpret, it is necessary for knowledge and application. There is at least one level of interpretation before it even is read by you.

One interpretation says thou shalt not make “graven image, or any likeness of any thing”. If this is your interpretation also, then you need to explain a bit more, unless you have no “likeness of any thing” yourself. Is this the case.

Other translations have thou shalt not make “an idol...” in which case, again, one needs to know what an idol is.

Unless you can show you have a clear understanding and knowledge of what an idol is, your accusations of idolatry cannot be taken seriously.

Are you claiming the ability to inerrantly interpret Scripture?

Is this an ability possessed only by you or does anyone, including the members of the Magisterium, have this ability?

Where anyone differs from you on the interpretation, dogmas and doctrines of Christianity, whether the Catholic Church or the thousands of non-Catholic denominations, are they all wrong?
