To God be the glory for preserving His own words:
God's Name is I AM.
I’m curious how you hear His voice? Is it through the Holy Spirit during your Bible study? God speaks to us through the Bible, through our prayer time, through our circumstances, and through the church (meaning the entire body of believers - regardless of denomination). If you are discrediting the book of Matthew, but uplifting the Psalms, how do you determine which books of the Bible are relevant and which are not?
One of the arguments I often hear is that there are so many denominations in Protestantism. This is a bad thing? People are studying the scriptures and praying and seeking and discussing. As a result, bodies of believers are drawn together to further discuss. It’s not “group think”, but it’s people digging in and seeking God. Home church groups spring up and eventually grow to needing larger spaces. They may call themselves this or that, but they are seeking God through a personal relationship with Him. The sign over the door doesn’t matter. The relationship to God is what matters.
