I wish I could hear the difference between the CRV and that used in the USA.

It is sad to me to hear Psalm 23, for instance to be read, spoken, or learned in any manner but the King James version. So much goes instantly missing and uncaptured in Sacred Scripture as we wile away the majesty and breadth of it all with the third grade reader level version in the US.

It is deeply grieving to endure such grave losses of language year after year in the Holy Mass. There seems to be no hope for restoration to beauty and piety and excellence in treatment of words and movement.

That's straight from the Sarum Rite.
