Well, my question is will the tens of millions who comprise the Catholic church actually vote based on this issue... Do Catholic rank-and-filers actually care about this?

I have told my wife in the last 2 weeks we Evangelicals better join this battle with Catholics. We better join it 100 percent to fight these totalitarian secularists. It is a chance for us to really live and display the Christian life.

Its not just Catholics. I may disagree with the Catholic church on contraceptives but not on their freedom to choose for themselves.

"It was Sunday morning early in the year 1776. In the church where Pastor Muhlenberg preached, it was a regular service for his congregation, but a quite different affair for Muhlenberg himself. Muhlenberg's text for the day was Ecclesiastes 3 where it explains, 'To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven; a time to be born, and a time to die, a time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted...'"
"Coming to the end of his sermon, Peter Muhlenberg turned to his congregation and said, 'In the language of the holy writ, there was a time for all things, a time to preach and a time to pray, but those times have passed away.' As those assembled looked on, Pastor Muhlenberg declared, 'There is a time to fight, and that time is now coming!' Muhlenberg then proceeded to remove his robes revealing, to the shock of his congregation, a military uniform."
"Marching to the back of the church he declared, 'Who among you is with me?' On that day 300 men from his church stood up and joined Peter Muhlenberg. They eventually became the 8th Virginia Brigade fighting for liberty."
"Frederick Muhlenberg, Peter's brother, was against Peter's level of involvement in the war. Peter responded to Frederick writing, 'I am a Clergyman it is true, but I am a member of the Society as well as the poorest Layman, and my Liberty is as dear to me as any man, shall I then sit still and enjoy myself at Home when the best Blood of the Covenant is spilling? ...So far am I from thinking that I act wrong, I am convinced it is my duty to do so and duly I owe to God and my country."

“And was it easy to know which PREZ candidate they supported?”
Oh yeah but also very civil, all agreed party unity in November is our only chance.

If Catholics stop voting Democrat, then Democrats are doomed, but I will believe it when I see it.

Blessings to you.

Some, more than most realize. Catholic unity is often more a goal than reality but under attack we tend to come together. And it will only take a shift of maybe a fifth of the congregants to make a difference.

0bama, the muzzie devil, is waging war against ALL Christians , Jews and some other faiths, not just Catholics. This is not about birth control. This is an open assault on the right to religious freedom given by God and stated in the U.S. Constitution.

it is my opinion, based on my understanding of the way the world works, that if this priest persists with this message and tries to organize people ... that even right there in Indiana, it would have a minimal effect on the politics.
The opposition in IND will counter-attack to neutralize him. One saintly person can change a town. But an entire state? I don’t expect the whole country to repent based on one YouTube video. Ask Francis of Assisi how it worked for him.

our beliefs and FIGHT!!!! The first job we have is to get the message out
that is is NOT about birth control!!!!This is about religious freedom and our
BELOVED CONSTITUTION!!!!! Our LEADERS can’t seem to get a clear
message out if their damn lives depended on it!!!! ALL of our GOD given
rights and liberties are being destroyed. I CAN NOT live in a socialist

It is more than one priest, it is nearly EVERY priest and every Bishop in the land. It is warfare, both open and covert.

Ditto.
I know enough Irish, Italian and central/south American Catholics in the US to know that they’re not about to vote GOP on this issue. The *best* that can be expected is that they refuse to vote for Obama’s re-election.... but then vote straight Democrat down-ticket.

I’ll believe it when the Church PUBLICLY excommunicates heretics like Fluke, Biden, Pelosi, Kerry, and all the other high-profile “Catholics”.
Until then, all this is just so much bluster.
And they know it.
