I dabbled in the new agey stuff a long time ago and found that it is a mile wide and an inch deep. Centrally, it is a philosophy that makes way for political correctness with the lie that all cultures and behaviors are of equal value (except Christians and moral truth) and “tolerance” where the liberal elite’s pecking order of preferences and oppression tends to dominate.

The premise is clear in this man’s speech. He claims that people must give up their own likes and dislikes to serve the collective happiness. They must not judge people’s behaviors which means we must not acknowledge the difference between good and evil and that they must not judge between different religious and political systems because they are all of the same value.

On the face of that, anyone who has lived longer than thirty years, knows not all political systems are the same - some are downright oppressive and deadly and they must be repelled. We must judge good behaviors versus destructive behaviors for ourselves and our children and in our institutions’ rules and laws. If we love others, we will encourage them to choose good behaviors over destructive behaviors, too. If we love ourselves we will judge our own behaviors and when we fall short, try to do better next time for ourselves but mostly because we love God.

Man can not shut up in the face of evil and not become an assistant to evil, himself. You don’t get to “not vote” in life; everything you do is a vote or a judgement between good and evil and smart and stupid. If God is within everyone, you must love them enough to be honest with them even if there is disagreement.

It’s claim to “universality” among all religions is false - the new age church of non-judgement beleif structure actually fits no religions that I know of. Like social Marxism, it must impose it’s own judgement of judgement on religious people to create the eden on earth of “equality and change” that it seeks. I noticed he took a pot shot at worshiping on Sundays...nothing could be worse than doing what the Christians do? From my experience of New Agers and their habit of attacking Christians for their judgement, I think it’s safe to say that is what the non-judgemental one was relating to his cheering audience.

Soooooo, in summary, TBP, I think the New Age religion is a bunch of feel good hooey in practice. But I do agree that God is in everything and in everyone. In that truth Jesus taught us, we should love every person because God loves all of us. That does not mean we don’t judge right from wrong in ourselves and others; it means in spite of that struggle to come to terms with goodness and truth within ourselves and in the larger community we share (to avoid the consequences of suffering), we still love the child of God in front of us as He does.
