More proof that the Catholic Church has as many (internal) denominations as the Protestants. It’s just like a country that won’t defend its borders. Amazing how our country is manifesting what is going on in our churches.
Errant nuns are not an "internal denomination." They aren't a denomination at all; the word is nonsequitor for this. It's a PROBLEM, not a separate group of religious.
I don't know about Protestants but the errant nuns will have a choice: give up their error or leave the convent.
If they leave the convent, they will be FORMER or EX nuns. If they stay nuns, IN ERROR, they will be excommunicated, that is, OUTSIDE the faith.
