No problemo! I, too, as well as probably everyone at one time or another has asked that question. Why, if God knew ahead of time how this would all turn out, did he go ahead and do it anyway? I guess there are really only two possible answers to that. Either there is no God, and all this is just chaos with no meaning to anything. Or, God does exist, he knows how everything will turn out and he has a plan for it all. I go with the latter because I know that God does exist, I know that Jesus Christ exists, that he died and rose from the grave and that he will come back one day just as he promised. I also believe that God was not surprised by anything that happened and that EVERYTHING that happens he allows so that his plan and will is fulfilled. Ephesians 2:7 says:

That in the ages to come he might shew the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus.
