I think it's a brilliant political move by Obama.

Want 100% of the Catholic vote in Nov.? Threaten now with the contraceptive controversy. Then give them an exemption, say, in Oct.

The great October surprise...and the RCs will fall all over themselves to vote for this "wise" and "wonderful" leader who pleased them.

Interesting, my thinking is they believe that they won't lose any support from the 55% who voted for them the first time. You think they might actually gain support from RC's. I don't believe obama will ever get the votes of the conservative RC's.

Have you seen any out reach to compromise with Evangelical churches, hospitals, schools, or other organizations? I haven't, which indicates to me this issue is driven by political calculation. They know no mater what they do they will not win over a majority of Evangelical Christians. When they reach a "grand compromise" with the RCC we will see where they stand, will they refuse if it does not include all religious institutions or will they agree to their own exemption.

There is nothing “brilliant” about this dictator. Not when the Democrats have succeeded in locking up the media, the judgeships, the military, the universities, and much of corporate America. He has to be the most divisive president we've ever had and the Democrats are pushing him to go further. All Obama has done is further alienate people. No one who is pro-life is going to even trust him.

What it serves to show is how many Democrats are in lock step with the communist goals that has so exposed the party. We are at a crossroad in this country and the communists (and that is what they are) are running with the ball. The question is whether they will score the touch down they hope for or whether they will be benched.
