Your survey is probably reflective of Catholic leadership as well. For years the Church has simply looked the other way while it supported liberal agendas all in the name of “helping the poor”. Odd time for them to finally be speaking out. One has to wonder would the Catholic bishops be filled with such righteous indignation if providing abortion pills wasn't going to cost the Church millions of dollars.

The media is paying a lot of attention to the RCC because they were one of the key swing votes for obama. Evangelical Christians have opposed obama from the beginning so their opposition to this and obamacare in general isn't getting much attention.
