After reading the letter several times, I don’t see anything seditious in it.

And if it is contemptuous it is just barely so, not blatantly so, and that only in so far as it states truth the statement of which some might consider contemptuous in and of itself.

I see no reason to forbid it’s reading and agree that it was a mistake to forbid it.
