You accuse me of being a heretic because that is exactly what you are since you pretend to follow Christ and deny his sacrifice is enough. That is why you can not say that you accept the gift.
WHo is Jesus ?
The second person of the Trinity (Father , Son , Holy Ghost= one - echad)
He came in the flesh
Was born of the Virgin Mary
He was crucified and died on the 14th day of Nissan(Passover)
He rose from the dead 3 days later on the 17th day of Nissan (Feast of First Fruits)
He died to make atonement for the whole world.
That means he died in place of me (you)because I(you) am(are) a sinner and the penalty for sin is death.
It’s his gift to the world . God became man to bridge the gulf between us , the gulf that was created by our sins.
You don’t get saved until you accept the gift that was his sacrifice . That means you actually have to humble yourself and realize that nothing you do can be good enough.
He is a HOLY God and there is nothing HOLY about a sinner.
