What the poster was revealing is an attitude which makes God responsible for the bad things which come upon peoples. That is a very immature perspective, or naive, or purposely deceptive, or ‘under the influence of cult programming’. God CAN direct the ruler of any people, but that is not the same as God does direct the heart of every leader.
I look at how close the 2000 election was and really took notice -- did the Lord have a hand in that so we would pay attention? I think so. 2004, the same. I think by 2008, none of us cared for McCain, so Obama won. He is not led by the Lord, IMO. 2010 was a Tea Party Revival.
Mitt doesn't have conservative support. If he does win the nomination, I hope we don't repeat 2008.
