It looks like she had been getting treatment so she may have been relatively normal while on meds.

Isn't it something that "mentally competent" = choose to have an abortion?
I hope she goes back on her meds.
Mental illness and morality: if one doesn't have a good Christian morality, I wonder how that affects someone with mental illness. Or are we talking apples and oranges? Does mental illness preclude being able to conform to one's morality, what ever it is?
