You will find that quite a few of them actually understand Greek (Unlike you) and realize that by that time the two words were interchangeable. How many credit hours do you have of Koine (New Testament Greek) do you have at the Graduate/ Masters level?

As well as Frank Sheed’s Theology and Sanity or if that is to intellectually challenging Peter Kreeft’s Fundamentals of the faith.

After I got done talking to him I decided to add Jesus, Peter, and the Keys by Butler Dahlgren and Hess. This one shows all of the well known prot that understand the absolute equality of petra and petros. Of course that would require them to engage in intellectual rigor instead of blind obedience to Pastor Bob of the school of no theological training.
