Brave man. I will pray for him.
And you are right. We have spent a lot of blood and treasure setting up a caliphate in the Middle East. What we have done to and allowed to happen to Christians in Iraq is a crime.
I think its time to open our minds and take a serious look at where all our military interventionism has led us. Not a single war in which the U.S. has engaged in since the Civil War has produced the outcome which was promised by its advocates. The Spanish-American War got us involved in the Philippines, which put us in the path of Japanese national interests. What business did the U.S. have in the Far East anyway? WW I, in which we had no national security interest, led inevitably to WW II, whose main outcome was the hegemony of Stalin over E. Europe; Stalin killed several times more people than Hitler. With Japan out of the way, the Chicoms killed many times more Chinese and Koreans than the Japanese.
People on this forum love to bash Ron Paul, but I have belatedly come to believe that maybe he has it right. Anyway, our nation is bankrupt. There are heroic people like this Kuwaiti who will die for the truth without our help; why should we spend trillions supporting loathsome "Islamic republics"?
