Facebook has been bullied by Mormons to silence the detractors of Mormonism. We've seen this tactic here at FreeRepublic. Thanks Jim, for keeping the free exchange of ideas free.

Yeah, we’ve seen the Mormon, “Temple Approved- Panties in a Bunch Brigade” here. If you speak the truth about Mormonism, you are a hateful bigot.

I will probaby, but not definitly, have the choice of Obama or Romney this fall.
Obama, NOT A CHANCE.
Romney? Hard for me to trust a candidate whose faith isn't Christian and whose faith believes that Romney, after death, will go on to rule another planet as a god (small "g").
This is no criticism of Mormonism or Romney but a statement from me on why it would be nigh impossible for me to vote for any Mormon, the faith that believes in human/Momon "gods" ruling on other planets?
Rule as a "god" on another planet????

The whiff of bigotry will be a full force stench as time goes on. I expect to see much more of this.

I think that everyone should experience the joys of dealing with The Mormon Protective Association (MPA). Makes you really appreciate them.

If you know the truth, then how does it matter what someone else may believe...they’re obviously wrong.

If you know the truth, then how does it matter what someone else may believe...theyre obviously wrong.Because when you get a group or legion of people who believe a lie, it can be dangerous. We turn our backs on Mormonism because we aren't bothered but who looks out for the child brides or women that get duped into the Mormon cult? What happens to Christianity when a cult can successfully attach itself to it? Will the gospel be replaced by another, then by another? If we don't stand up for the truth, what will we have left? What will the next generation know?

Happy New Year Vig,
Did you read the article? It’s stating that simple theological discussions about the more unpalatable aspects of mormonism are being censored.
Is that what you’re defending? The mormon sanctioned censorship of comments and information that they don’t want people to know about. It’s one thing if folks are making things up out of whole cloth, but that’s not the case here. They’re going out and trying to wipe out any dissension or discussion.
The doctrine of mormonism is ripe for challenging when they come out and claim that not only are Christians an abomination, but that they and they alone hold all of the keys to the kingdom. The rest of us can go to hell as far as their prophets have taught and many mormons here on FR have espoused that exact sentiment.
The mormons threw the first punch and have continued to throw punches throughout their history. That they now want to throw down the censorship/victimization card when they start getting their asses handed to them, shows them to be exactly what I’ve thought them to be.
JR has made a forum dedicated to Religion on his website.
Apparently, he feels that religion is a relevant topic as it relates to conservatism.
Sorry that it’s connected to a political site, but hey, it’s JR’s playground, he makes the rules.
