THANK YOU for posting this. It is invaluable.

It corrected a few misconceptions I had about the Masoretic Text vs. the Septuagint.

It also surprised me! Many little things that are significant, turned around some of my false assumptions.

I'm a former evangelical Protestant who "discovered" Orthodox Christianity, and was recently baptized as an Orthodox Christian. Such a rich, unknown history that is hiding right out in the open, for all to discover....

Protestants have certain preconceptions they bring to their Bible readings that run counter to how the Bible would have been read 2,000 years ago. That mostly is due to the Nominalist philosophy that Luther, Calvin, etc. read into the texts.

I found that reading the Bible in the framework of the Greek fathers who more or less lived in the same culture that St. Paul did completely changed how I read the Bible.
