Pillar and bulwark = upholder of truth already established in scripture. The CC has fallen terribly from that task.

Merely your opinion, CB. The Church’s understanding of Scripture differs from yours in some areas, but if you try to claim that you know better or are correct, you make the same claim for yourself that you reject of the Church.

I most certainly do. I also understand that there isn’t a person alive who has read Scripture in a vacuum without anyone else to lead them or without ever having read or talked to others about it.
