Given as I was a protestant and I used to do the exact same thing, I think I DO understand what is going on here. :)

That’s because you claim to follow sola scriptura, but not really. Because you regard the traditions of men to be equally authoritative. When it suits you.
All traditions of men lay at the same level, an opinion of man is an opinion of man. And none are as authoritative as Scripture.
Nobodies. I don't care what authority they claim. tradition was only ever condemned in Scripture by Jesus. He never said anything good about it. And He's going to set up another system with MORE traditions? I don't think so.
