No, not everybody is called to marriage, although that was God’s intent for ma and woman from the beginning.
I would rather say that some are called to be single, rather than called to be married.
The issue is preventing conception is preventing conception, regardless of the method used. It’s hypocritical of the church to oppose certain methods (mechanical) to prevent conception and not others (timing).
God looks on the heart. Someone can keep the letter of the law and not the intent. That’s where NFP falls apart. It keeps the letter of the law established by the Catholic church, but not the intent.
