The image used in Scripture is of removing a veil. In 2 Corinthians 3:15 Paul says of the unbelieving Jews,..... “But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.”.... He continues, ....“Nevertheless, when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away” (2 Cor. 3:16).

I think we see evidence of this exact same "heart veil" on this forum just about every day.

Yes...and by that, for whatever reason, the Lord has not lifted it. We should pray more about this. Sometimes I think I set too high expectations for those who are still in the dark. What seems so obviously clear to us they are kept from knowing and seeing....and we wouldn't know either were it not for the Lord removing the veil from our eyes.

Happy New Year to you as well....am hopeful the nation is is given opportunity to once again turn to God this next year...but with that wonder if it's just seriously too late. Many are fighting to regain our Christian Heritage.
