I guess it’s the only way that they can pass judgment on others and feel completely justified in it. It does nothing but create an attitude of smug superiority in those doing the labeling and judging.

It’s all about control.

That's one of the first things I noticed here on RF. They really are not happy campers. There is always some witch stirring brew in a black pot somewhere out in misery land.

A great many of the comments found on these religion threads are simply repugnant. When what could be a civil and useful discussion becomes a harping insistence that it become personal I see no reason to join the thread.

But since occasionally I'm surprised I'll keep looking in.
