A cleansing may be taking place as we speak, with bleach. I've been pouring through some of the academic articles I work with and came across a reference to the LDS Church History in the Fulness of Times Student Manual .

For some reason, all of the corresponding chapters that previously had references to Joseph Smith taking additional plural wives on particular dates (the reference to the first one recognized by the LDS, who isn't who you would think it is), to marriages within prominent LDS families? Those chapters are now missing. The links are inoperable. Other chapters are fine. Those chapters are down and missing.

For editing?

The day will come when those who daily kick against the prick know the truth with in their souls how they have been conducting their lives behind this cyber screen.

than there will be no cyber screen to hide behind nor a cave or a rock.

All will be held accountable for hindering the work of the Lord!

Cleansing of lds history - not surprising. The whole “salamander letter” scandal was an effort by the lds leaders to capture and bury unfavorable history towards the prophet (except in that case it was bogus - but shows the intent). Many other facts are buried in the vaults, with only a few items seeing the light of day - such as smith’s personal diaries providing alternative/contradictory accounts of the ‘first vision’.

Time for screen shots and downloading files.

Thanks, all. I've been informed that you may access The History of the Church through Brigham Young University. I'm going to download my copy.

I'm glad it exists.

It's still the case that it's been removed from the LDS website.

Makes you wonder whether the webmaster at BYU will be receiving a memo.
