Well, maybe. I can tell you when I looked up my Mom and Dad, because my lds family put them in the data base, their birthdays and birthplaces were wrong. Not terribly wrong but wrong none the less.
This was nine years ago and their db got me started. There was some stuff wrong in the early years with my family tree in their db but as my family arrived in 1680 I cut them some slack. I find errors in genealogy references all of the time which is why one must always cross-ref and confirm.
