Many thanks. I would direct anyone who wishes to understand the antiCatholic vitriol and overall attitude of many ersatz Christians to read up on the editorial cartoons of Thomas Nast and see the evolution of his thoughts and beliefs and of the attitude of that era. It is a reflection of and an encouragement for the level of antiCatholicism that we see amongst the usual suspects here who longingly look back at a better day when Catholics 'knew their place'.
