Yes, that harvest happens but during the Tribulation period, not prior to it and certainly not because of the dominionist movement, or apostolic reformation movement that these folks claim is going to usher in the kingdom of God and banish death.
This apostolic reformation movement with its thinking and teaching that we can bring in the kingdom of God here and now eliminates the need for the Tribulation. Scripture would then be wrong that it is going to happen.
I’m not into the apostolic movement per se...I agree they are off base. I’m not so sure about the 2 harvest times...I get the sense that they are immediately back to back or happening almost simultaneously. Revelation speaks of multitudes martyred specifically by the Beast at the same time the Beast is hampered by the preaching and spiritual power of the two witnesses. Thessalonians speaks of “the restrainer” that is taken out of the way which allows the “son of perdition “ to be revealed. For, in this case, it is taught by pre tribs that this restrainer is the “Holy Spirit” by way of all present and departed believers of the church who will be raptured up, thus the “restrainer” is taken out of the way. Yet, I can’t find any other support for the Restrainer as being the Holy Spirit, or Spirit filled church and it’s believers and the “restrainer” may very well be some other angelic entity or hampering agent God has set in place.
Is there to be a rapture and a catching up of present and past believers...yes! The Bible is clear on that, but I think the timing is a little more in question. We have the words of our Lord who says “no one knows the hour save the Father in Heaven” and also says “Behold I come(interesting that it always seems to be translated in the present tense) like a thief!”
So count me in the pre-trib, oops mid trib,oops prior to armegeddon/wine press of wrath camp! Yet Christ has said he will never forsake us, no matter how dark everything gets!
