Read the Regensburg Address. With all due respect to my Roman Catholic friends, JP2 was an embarrassment in many ways.

Pope Benedict is of a different mind.
O.K., I'll take JP II and you get Martin Luther, and I'll throw in Calvin...you still lose. In matters of faith and morals, JP II is infallible. You don't have to agree with him, but to challenge what he said is inane.
