It wouldn’t matter if PP did a million.
The point is, when you give money to PP for non-abortion services (in this case, breast cancer awareness) it frees up money that can be used for abortion services (PP’s primary mission).
It’s the old story that all money is fungable. This is why you should never give money to an organization that does things you disagree with, even if the money you give is targeted to a “good cause”.
I agree. I think that point was made in the original article. I thought it was important to add that the money Komen gives to Planned Parenthood does not go toward breast cancer research, diagnosis or treatment. The entire donation goes straight to abortions. I think that makes the whole situation that much worse. It would be bad enough if Komen was giving money to PP for breast cancer prevention, diagnosis or treatment; but it’s even worse that they’re donating money exclusively for abortions.
