60’s. Nope my friend. I am a 70s child. Even though that means nothing to me either. I was born in the 70s and I am child of GOD.
I know history equates “ flower children” like that. But honestly, everyone has a different experience in their life and history does not record everything ( it’s impossible). I say this, because when I did meet some “ flower children”, they were not as “ flowery” as history portrayed. LOL!! Definitely not.
Unless a believer was really strong in faith, I can say honestly that they didnt want want to meet the ones I met in Upstate NYC back in the early 80s. The ones I met were really steadfast and did not play.
But I met the ones you are referring to, because history recorded those ( for a reason), so, they were around as well.

I think your “love” is phoney as is your claims... and not at all as your intentions actually are. I say IBITZ....it’ll come eventually.

Grace and peace. What you “ think” doesnt mean it is true. This is why JESUS tells us not to judge one another.
Pharisees and many thought of JESUS, HIS followers, messengers, and all that followed GOD the same way ( even within their own company). Jesus rebuked and corrected the disciples many times because of their doubt.
So, this is not a surprise.
GOD knows how much I love HIM. Same with some believers that know me. But, my only focus is that GOD knows how much I love HIM.
In a world where people are not taught love as a child. GOD has had me realize since I was a child that it will take time for many people (not all) to know what love is. Most people only see love or even want to love people on holidays, weddings, birth of children, when someone is sick, etc......not every day and not to everyone.
So, for a person that GOD gives that kind of love to, they not only have a responsible to show that love. But, that person has to also realize that they are put in a world that rarely sees love like that.
No worries.
Again, as I have repeated the WORDS of JESUS before:
Luke 10:16
16 “Whoever listens to you listens to me; whoever rejects you rejects me; but whoever rejects me rejects him who sent me.”
As beautiful as JESUS story is. I do re-call they were so jealous of HIS love ( that they didnt have) that they actually wanted to free a criminal they proved hurt many people instead of letting Jesus go.
They did this just out of jealousy and because they could not prove or disprove what HE was saying. Also, because what HE was saying was exposing the evil in people that were using their power to oppress people. But, at the same time, they saw all the great loving things HE did for people.
Then later ( and before) people saw the prophets, messengers, amazing women in the faith, and then later the disciples, and more women in the faith of CHRIST; and many chastized or killed them. So is the life of love of CHRIST.
So is the love of CHRIST!

JOHN 3:20
20 Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. 21 But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God.”
Funny how HIS HOLY name just brings the “ devil “ out in some people! LOL!
Hey, just by nature we all know that a snake, lizard, or anything on it’s belly and eats dust must come out from under the ROCK and into the LIGHT to BREATH a BREATH OF LIFE!! LOL!
