Unfortunately, the Bible is just another creation of flawed, sinful, political humans.
It's a nice guide....but most of it has nothing to do with God.
And where are these vestment instructions from God ??
The problem comes when the religion makes it "mandatory" and it becomes dogma.
Then, a man-made rule - which may have worked very well for somebody - is made into a "God mandated rule".....and many rational people are turned off by arbitrary rules they KNOW have nothing to do with God.....so they end up rejecting religion - and ignoring God.
If you want more people to come to God.....don't make a lot of stupid rules that, in THIS day and age - only serve to turn people away from God.
Times change....it's like telling people to watch "I love Lucy" reruns over and over again and like them every time. The humor in "I love Lucy" is timeless....but it needs to be repackaged and updated to keep the peoples interest.

Some folks look so hard for the ‘escape clause’ to justify themselves and their proclivities that they end up denying the reality of the Grace clause God has authored and chronicled in The Bible. It is a common trait of sexual degenerates and lying politicians such as populate the democrap party.

Anyways, God's meticulous instructions regarding the Tabernacle, sacrifice and purification are in Exodus. Exodus 25:1 to Exodus 28:43. I would not stop there, it's well worth finishing Exodus as it is to read the whole book. It's interesting that God leaves nothing to chance; everything is laid out like the most complex assembly manual there is. My theory on why it's so complex is that we, when even thousand of us try, we could not understand God on his level or if he gave his instructions the way he sees them. No, I think he has to dumb it down so we get it and do it correctly. Keep in mind that if you go into the Holy of Holys without purifying yourself, or on the wrong day or with an impure lamb, you die.
