Very interesting.
It doesn't really matter but it's still most intriguing.
Perhaps it is part of God's plan to keep us guessing about some things.

Josephus also wrote that the end of construction left 18,000 workmen unemployed in Jerusalem. Some historians have linked this to discontent that eventually erupted in the Jewish revolt.This was from the original story alluded to on this thread. I thought THIS was interesting too. I don't know how true it might be but I tend to forget that history often repeats itself and we aren't a whole lot different from those people 2000 years ago.
