Why is it that FR lets Protestants get away with personal attacks against Catholics?

Rman21, the Religion Moderator does his/her best to keep things fair. We will get nowhere, criticizing. I have been tempted many times to commit suicide by mod, but have so far not done it. Occasionally, I ask myself why bother?

But let’s work WITH the RM and each other. Please. And we can work behind the scenes to develop a strategy to bless the Religion Forum this Christmas, maybe alleviate some of the bigotry.

Which of the following words are difficult for you?

—personal—relating specifically to a specific individual.

—NOT PERSONAL—a group of undefined specific membership.

The FR forum has no capacity to prevent folks from

TAKING THINGS PERSONALLY

ANY MORE THAN Mods have the capacity to reach through the computer screens and jerk 2 year olds’ thumbs out of their mouths and rescue their keyboards from their tearful whining.

HINT—the words above are NOT from the Vatican DAFFYNITIONARY but are instead from the dictionary that the rest of the world uses.

Why not phrase it a tad differently? Why not phrase it along the lines of: why are Protestants so bitter and jealous of Catholic Christianity? The attacks are a symptom, not an end in themselves. They are missing something; they attempt to create it themselves, but are still missing it. They see us, in a direct line from the Apostles and actively resent us, some knowingly and others unknowingly.

So what? When a little child says something to you that you don't like, do you take it seriously?
