>>yes. Satan was bound at the cross for a 1,000 years ( mataphoric language that represents the time from the cross to shortly before the end of the world )<<

So you are saying that Satan has had no influence on the earth since Christ died on the cross?

no, i am saying he is bound in the sense that he can not frustrate nor stop the plundering of his kingdom by the spread of the Gospel by the Church.

Jesus said if you plunder someone’s home, you first must bind the strong man.

"yes. Satan was bound at the cross for a 1,000 years (mataphoric language that represents the time form the cross to shortly before the end of the world)"

So, I guess this means nothing:

"Grace be to you and peace from God the Father, and from our Lord Jesus Christ, Who gave himself for our sins, that he might deliver us FROM THIS PRESENT EVIL WORLD, according to the will of God and our Father;". Gal. 1:3,4.

If Satan is bound now, where is this PRESENT EVIL WORLD located? And WHY hasn't the Catholic Church been able to turn THIS PRESENT EVIL WORLD into the Kingdom that Christ WILL establish when He returns? All should be puppies and butterflies by now, if Satan were bound, and the Catholic Church was in charge of bringing peace about.
