DECLARED sinless. Don’t cherry pick my post. I never said a believer was sinless but declared sinless in a legal transaction. God considers us as righteous because of our faith in Christ.

Hebrews 10:12-14 12But when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, 13waiting from that time until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet. 14For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.

Colossians 3:3 For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.

It’s arrogance to presume that you are sinless and already saved.
We’ve been declared sinless by God, in a legal transaction.

Colossians 2:11-14 11In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, 12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead.

13 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 14by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.

Sorry, metmom. If you think that Christ saved you in a legal transaction, then that means that He is legally bound to save you. Two posts. Both theologically wrong. Both very illustrative of those who have departed from the Faith.

Wrong. Nobody is forced to enter a legal transaction.
