You claim that you deserted the Faith for theological ones, but I think that you guys are trying to justify that decision to yourselves more than trying to convince us. I did not desert the *Faith*. I found faith and left legalism in the form of Catholicism for freedom in Christ.
I attend church because the Scriptural command is to not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, not because it's a sin to miss church.

Is it a scriptural command to ridicule those who feed the hungry? To mock them? To claim their love of Christ is merely trying to buy their way out of purgatory? Do your scriptures tell your church to do that?

Amen, metmom. And the Spirit of God lives within us all the time.
Mark, what is this faith you speak of? deserted the Faith
Now I'm off to Praise and Worship the ONLY ONE worthy of praise - JESUS, The ONE Way, The ONE Truth, the ONE Life with more members of His Body, my brothers and sisters 'in Christ'. And who are they?
"For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is my brother and sister and mother." Matt 12:50
Thank You, Jesus, as we follow YOU and YOUR Ways of YOUR Supernatural Kingdom and not the ways of this secular world.
"Just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so My Ways are higher than your ways, and My Thoughts are higher than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:9

So it really is all about what the god in the mirror says today.
