For shame....Of course God works whereever and whenever He chooses and with whom.....if HE doesn’t then none could be saved for ‘we were all outside The Body of Christ when he began His good work in us...seperated from God. Yet as believers we can all look back to the many times God worked in our life BEFORE we became Christians.

Romans 10:17 tells us faith comes from hearing the word of God.
Romans 10:14 says how can they believe unless someone preaches to them?
The Eunuch, who was reading the Scriptures, when asked if he understood what he was reading said:
“how can i understand, unless someone explains it to me?”
The “someone” who has the AUTHORITY to explain ( i.e. teach ) is THE CHURCH.
