Thanks boatbums. Yes, my Grandmas were very special ladies in my life but I don’t revere them the way I do Jesus. Because of them, I have life on this earth but because of Jesus, I have eternal life. Huge difference.

Amen. One of my grandmothers played a very influential part in my coming to saving faith in Jesus Christ. We often visited them, two at a time, sometimes spending a month or more during summer break from school. I remember watching Billy Graham crusades on TV. Then, when we were shipped back to the US from overseas, and moved to a house across the street from them, we started going to their Southern Baptist Church and it was in a Sunday school classroom that the teacher showed me John 10:27-30. The “light” went on and I became a real Christian. So, here my grandma was all along, in her sweet and subtle way, helping me to see the truth. She gave it to the Lord for us to be saved, and he answered her prayers as well as mine.
