That's an interesting charge from a Catholic whose own church has not yet provided a commentary on Scripture.
Since the RCC has not yet provided a Bible commentary on Scripture, neither it nor its members are in any position to challenge any other interpretation of Scripture, since there is no *official* document to which to appeal for THEIR interpretation.
They're in no position to tell us we're wrong when they don't know what *right* (supposedly according to the RCC) is.
All that's left is their personal opinion, or THEIR YOPIOS.
Since there's no official Catholic commentary on Scripture and there are allegedly some billion Catholics in the world, each is left to interpret it for themselves, that leaves the Catholic church with a billion or so different interpretations of Scripture.
mm, I think you’ve hit the motherload of RCC hypocrisy. It’s a gusher! Unofficial Catholic commentary on Scripture spewed by one BILLION RC YOPIOS...WOW!
The Catholic Church doesnt have a commentary on scripture because by doing so they would be forced to show that their version of some passages and verses dont fit with the rest of scripture. By attempting to produce one they would get so tangled up in disinformation that it would expose them as frauds. I dont believe for a second that they havent attempted to produce one but realized it would destroy the foundation of that cult.
Thanks for the ping. These should be pertinent to your issue:
